Vigora is a red, triangular tablet that contains 100mg of Sildenafil as the active ingredient. This drug is a PDE5-inhibitor and is known to improve erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension.
The mechanism of penile erection involves the release of nitric oxide when a person is sexually stimulated. Nitric oxide then activates an enzyme that increases cGMP levels to produce relaxation of smooth muscles thus allowing blood flow into the penis to produce an erection. The Sildenafil in Vigora then inhibits PDE5 for it is responsible in the decline of cGMP in the penis. It helps with erectile dysfunction in increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels causing a widening of vessels thus increasing the blood flow to the penis. It also helps with pulmonary hypertension by relaxing or widening pulmonary blood vessels to reduce pressure, for a better inflow of blood to the lungs.
Vigora 100 is manufactured by German Remedies
Vigora is contraindicated to patients with known allergy to the active drug Sildenafil and to any of the tablet’s ingredients. It is also contraindicated to patients taking GC stimulator like Riociguat, and patients taking nitrates like those prescribed for chest pain, it may potentiate the hypotensive effects and cause a serious drop in blood pressure.
