Piretam 800mg

Piretam 800mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, stroke, dementia in Parkinson's disease, age related memory loss and head injury.  Piracetam is an exceptional nootropic with low contagiousness and insolubility levels and incurs a small number of side effects. Its effectiveness in the treatment of ischemia, cognitive impairment, stroke, and dementia is acknowledged widely. It also contributes to the cognition enhancement of dyslexic and dyspraxia children. Moreover, its usefulness is equally apparent in Down Syndrome patients whereby piracetam is employed to slow down the rapid aging of the brain. It also contributes as a modulator of brain metabolism, neuro-protection and neuro-plasticity. Piracetam is also known to have anti-seizure or antiepileptic effects. Furthermore, it is also used for the reduction of symptoms associated with anxiety, withdrawal from alcohol, and clinical depression (Grossman, Stewart, Gaikwad, Utterback, Wu, Dileo, Frank, Hart, Howard & Kalueff, 2011).

Piracetam Dosage and Suggested Usage

Although not applicable to every individual, the standard dosage of piracetam is 1600 mg thrice a day in the starting. This dose may vary if the patient is a child. The recommended piracetam dosage varies based on the reason of use, usually ranging from 1.6–9.6 grams daily (2–12 pills daily). Some people report better results when taking 1–2 pills per hour for 4–6 hours or taking 4–8 pills at once for the first few days to notice an effect. Even when given in high doses over a long period of time, piracetam has never been medically recorded or documented to have any negative or adverse side effects. Very few cases of headaches and insomnia have been discussed from a few personal experiences due to a lack of natural choline levels. Experienced users have made suggestions to supplement Piracetam with Choline. Choline can boost the effects of Piracetam and will eliminate any possible side effects that this smart drug may cause. Choline supplements can be purchased from a local vitamin store or nootropic vendor. Choline is often found in B-Complex and is naturally abundant in eggs, beef liver, and cauliflower.  Alpha GPC, CDP Choline, and citicoline are the highest and most expensive grades of choline, but choline bitartrate will work just fine.
