Product Information

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease caused by the bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis. This infection may be unknowingly passed to other sexual partners because often times, it does not cause any signs nor symptoms. People get infected with chlamydia by having oral, vaginal, or anal sexual activity with an infected partner. It can also be passed from by women to the baby during childbirth. Women can get chlamydia in the cervix, rectum, or throat, and men get infected in the urethra, rectum, or throat.
