Product Information

Lobac 10 contains 10mg of Baclofen as its active ingredient. This drug is a muscle relaxant that is used to relieve muscle spasm, tightness of muscles and muscle cramping due to medical problems like multiple sclerosis or injuries to the spine. While the drug does not provide cure to the medical problems, it however aids other treatment that help improve the condition, like physical therapy, by reducing the severity and frequency of spasms. Baclofen can also help relieve pain and improve muscle movement.

It works by acting on the central nervous system (CNS) to produce its muscle relaxing effects. The exact mechanism of this drug is not yet fully understood. However, it is believed to interact with neurons that use gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) as neurotransmitter and inhibit synaptic reflexes in the spine.
